The Story and History of "We Come To You"

Dr. Bodmer was in private practice in East Mesa, Gilbert, and Chandler for thirty years. He had one of the largest "Foot and Ankle" practices in the state of Arizona prior to the sale of his practice to his junior associates in 2006. A typical day involved seeing 30 to 50 patients and often performing surgeries at the hospital or outpatient surgical facility in the early morning or mid-afternoon hours five days per week. Dr. Bodmer felt the "time was right" when his junior associates offered to buy his practice. He and his wife, Gail, traveled to numerous places around the world for a year. He states, "We were able to enjoy the fruits of all the years of hard work! Our kids were grown and out of college and it was time for Gail and me to enjoy some time together. Many people only dream of what we were able to do!"
 
Dr.Bodmer began to receive numerous calls from old patients and requests from friends and acquaintances to treat their feet. He and Gail decided to help those in need and make house calls.
"People loved the idea of us coming to their home", he states. "I had the brief thought of opening another office in Gold Canyon with a dentist and calling it the HOOF and MOUTH CLINIC. It was too much work so Gail and I decided to continue making house calls. I can see fewer patients, give them quality time, and not have the overhead and employee headaches that go along with running a full time office."
